The rom (in both instances) works fine if unpatched, in both my PC and SNES Classic, but not the patched file.

I thought my ROM was the blame I’ve had a copy of this ROM game since 2009 – so I sourced a fresh one to be safe. I am now trying to get it to work on my PC directly and again – wont work. When the game loads, I get a eternal black screen (doesn't go back to the main menu like other fails) and eventually the SNES give me error 08, and I have to unplug the power cable to get it to shut off - toggling the power wont do it (which worries me separately). I initially was trying to do so on the SNES classic system, using any and all emulation cores, and to no avail won't work. I have been trying to get this patch to work for the life of me using different patching tools, and none seem to work – or I should say, that the patch applies, but then the patched rom will not run.
